START WHERE YOU ARE

Today on the paid professionals blog we will talk about the one simple idea to start achieving your professional goals. What is your big idea and why have you not started achieving it? What might be stopping you from achieving your professional goals?

You have big dreams, big plans for the future, and great expectations. After you have made your plans and imagined where you want to be or what you want to do, the next step is to take action right. Begin… hmmm. Day one, nothing. Day two, nothing was done… Day twenty-three nothing. Still counting?

Why do people fear to try even when they have great ideas and have big plans? Why do you hesitate? You have all it takes to succeed. And yet nothing is done.

It is the fear of the unknown right? The fear of not knowing what will happen next. The man who is so careful not to make mistakes is already making a mistake by not making a move. Life itself teaches us to have faith. Though you cannot see the end and you need to start anyway.

The fear of failure is the one factor that inhibits a man’s desire to begin things. That fear of launching out into the deep. The fear of the unknown. Why is this so?

One person will say, “I tried before and I failed.” Another will say, “what if I fail again?” Yet another will say “I have not done this before.” So many excuses. What do you do?

I’ll give you the one big tip… START.

You don’t need to see the whole staircase but you need to take the step anyway. You need to take a step on faith. It is the only way to climb up. It is the only way to get to the next level. The hardest part is to start.

From my experience in life, the major cause of a person not achieving much is not trying enough or not even trying at all. It took me a while to decide to start this blog. But I got to a point where I had to start anyway even when I had no idea where it is going to lead me.

A certain man was asked at his death bed what his major regret was in life. His response amazed me. He said he wished he had taken more risks.

If you risk not trying, you risk not getting what you desire.  I got a message from one of my mentors who wrote: “There is no failure, just feedback”.

If you have the courage to start, the next steps get easier. It is all about attitude. An optimistic attitude propels you to move ahead. A can do it attitude makes you stand up when you fall. Even when challenges pushes you down, courage pulls you back up.

When you face an obstacle, you find a way to get to the other side, isn’t it? You can go through it, go around it, or go above it. But you must find a way. By simply trusting in providence, you let go of hesitation and move ahead believing that all things will work out for the best interest of you.

It is the fear of falling that makes you stand on a point when you ought to be flying. The difference between a successful person and a failure is that a successful person risk trying.

Most records of successful people show that the successful person is that person who did it one more time. In most cases, breakthroughs came when they were on the brink of giving up.

It is never too late to try again. Failure is an opportunity to try again in a better way. It takes courage to start. It takes the attitude of starting to start all over after you fail.

This is motivation for you today from the paid professional’s blog to inspire you. Start what you can where you are. And whatever you are doing, keep keeping on till you get a better result. A professional today was once a rookie who never gave up.
